The institute has a well equipped library which is fully computerized and contains large volumes of text books, reference books, journals and magazines etc., There are 10,000 volumes of books in the library and Librarian is in – charge of it.
To keep up with the pace of the technology new Digital Library is in Operation to revolve around the needs in the digital format.
The library will be kept open on all working days 8.50 a.m. to 12.20 p.m. and 1.20 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.
All students and members of teaching and non- teaching staff are members of the library
A students requiring a book should fill up a library card slip, get it signed by the H.O.D. concerned and submit it to the librarian
Students borrowing books from library should check up whether any page is missing or damaged. If so, the fact should be brought to the notice of the Librarian
If books are returned to the library after due date a fine of 50 paise per day shall be collected
Books due on a holiday can be return without fine on the next working day.
The NSS Unit of the college remain active throughout the year. Programme Officer and volunteers engage themselves in all programmes. They conduct programmes in the rural areas to promote their civilization. Every year special camping programmes are also conducted in the adopted village to uplift rural area.
As internet is ruling the world and our daily life, an exclusive internet centre with 25 computer system has been developed. A 12MB Broad band leased internet line provides uninterrupted and unlimited connectivity at high speed. Students of all branches can utilize this facility.
“A sound mind in sound body” is a good saying. Keeping this in mind great emphasis is given to promote physical education in our Polytechnic.
Our Sports Complex provides all the facilities for Games and Sports. Rigorous training and regular coaching are imparted to all students keeping in mind that our students should have perseverance and they will exhibit their talents in the area of sports. Constantly we find a place in IPAA- Tournament
The Polytechnic Boys Hostel Provides Residential facility for 650 students. The hostel mess is run on dividing system. The daily average rate at present is about
Admission to the hostel will be made by the Principal and Deputy Warden.
Separate Ladies Hostel is available for girl students
Students of the hostel should not absent themselves from the polytechnic and stay in the hostel without obtaining previous leave from Residential Assistant Wardens
Attendance will be taken every day during study and silence hours. The students should not move to other rooms during silence hours. The students maintain perfect silence during the above timings.
PARENTS TEACHERS ASSOCIATION (PTA)
For smooth and successful functioning of an educational institution, Parents participation is very important. By keeping the above fact in mind, Parents Teachers Association (PTA) is formed. The duly elected office bearers convene the association at regular intervals.
MASTER MEDICAL CHECK-UP
Adhiparasakthi Hospital and Research Institute conduct annual master medical check-up for all our students. Special cases are referred to the hospital for further detailed diagnosis and treatment.
The following societies are formed by the students in various branches.

2) Society of Mechanical Engineers
3) Society of Electrical & Electronics Engineers
4) Society of Electronics & Communication Engineers
5) Society of Computer Engineers
Under the aegis of these associations regular inter-college state level seminars are conducted. Paper presentation and Quiz competitions are also held and prizes are given. Students are kept updated with latest technologies by the lectures given by Industrial experts.
Old students are the real barometer of any institution. Hence an Alumni Association has been formed. The association is actively conducting meetings and providing valuable advices for the improvement of the college. They also informally interact with the students to reduce the gap between industry and curriculum.
ISTE STUDENTS CHAPTER
A Student's chapter of ISTE has been established. All the students are eligible to become members. Various students activities like technical paper presentation, model making, presentation skill developing programmers are organized and conducted by the chapter to improve the communication skills and personality of the students.
CANADA INDIA INSTITUTIONAL CO-OPERATION PROJECT (CIICP)
Our Polytechnic College was chosen as one of the 13 project polytechnics under Canada India Institutional Co-operation Project (CIICP). Under this project our polytechnic college has identified 8 major thrust areas for ensuring total personality change of the staff and students and total institutional development at all levels..
The Board Examinations are common to I,II and III year students are conducted at the end of every semester in Oct and April.
All the examinations are conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training.
The Institute arranges to get Government scholarships to the eligible students belonging to Backward Class, Most Backward Class, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students.
The Institute also arranges for merit scholarship for poor students from M/s.Jindal Trust, Bangalore
